    Fact: It cost very to adopt through foster care, or to foster a child. Training is free, and tehre are just a few minimal fees required for the application process.

What is adoption?

Adoption is the permanent legal placement of a child with a qualified family.

Requirements for becoming an adoptiive parent/family

Each child placing agency has their own set of requirements for being a foster parent. Be sure to check with the agency for more information and their specific guidelines.

Some common requrements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be in good health
