94.7 QDR wants to help homeless animals around the Triangle find fur-ever homes and that’s why we started Fursdays!
Each week we will feature a local pet up for adoption through one of the amazing rescue organizations around the area.
This week we have Karma who is with the Animal Protection Society of Durham.
Here is what the Animal Protection Society of Durham says about Karma, “Hello! I’m a sweet, friendly girl who’s feeling anxious right now. I’m looking for someone to love and lean on. I may take a minute to warm up to you, but at heart I’m a big sweetie who just wants to spend my days relaxing and hanging out with you. I enjoy a good belly rub and will pay you back with sweet kisses. Don’t let my age fool you; I love walking and playing with toys. If you’re looking for a low-energy friend, come see me! ”
Our friend Mosley is still up for adoption as well, you can read more about him here and by clicking his picture!
If you can’t adopt a fur baby but still want to help, the Animal Protection Society of Durham has two fun events coming up that you can attend!
Join The Animal Protection Society of Durham at their 3rd annual Pints for Paws craft beverage event, sample a selection of local beverages from Durham-based craft brewers and vendors, and have a great time while benefiting Animal Protection Society of Durham. Enjoy live music, local food trucks, and bring your crowd-friendly dogs (on leash of course!) to our unique family-friendly event. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Animal Protection Society of Durham to care for animals in need.
