Our Hometown Hero of the week is Anthony Norris, who has served 22 years with the Elizabethtown/Garland Fire Department. 

Anthony was nominated by Valerie who said: Anthony is a loving husband and father of five. He has 22 years in the fire service and loves his job! At the age of 35, he has 19 years of volunteering with Garland volunteer fire and rescue and Elizabethtown fire department and the perseverance he achieved with his lifelong dream of a career in the fire service. He is the Deputy Chief of the Elizabethtown Fire Department. He is always willing and ready to help no matter what, whether it be he is answering a call or happens to ride upon an emergency situation
