94.7 QDR wants to help homeless animals around the Triangle find fur-ever homes and that’s why we started Fursdays!
We are bringing back our Fursdays the safe way – through Zoom! Each week we will feature a local pet up for adoption through one of the amazing rescue organizations around the area.
This week we are talking with APS of Person County about Moose!
Moose –
Moose is “unforgett-a-bull” and he’s looking to be somebody’s one and only! At approximately 1 year old, this loving and goofy pit bull mix will keep you moving and grooving. He loves to hike, swim, and play, play, play! This sweet boy also loves a good cuddle session, belly rubs, spying on the neighbors, and bath time! Eager to learn, Moose is house and crate trained and walks well in a gentle-leader type leash. We recommend a high energy family with a fenced yard and no other dogs because Moose is an attention hog!
So if you’re a dog-savvy, energetic person ready to fall in love with this charismatic puppy, we’re ready for you to complete the non-binding “Rescue a Pet” application found at www.apsofpc.org.
APS of Person County –
Animal Protection Society (APS) of Person County is a non-profit organization made possible because of dedicated volunteers who rescue —> foster —> adopt —> repeat!
In addition to rescuing, fostering, and creating #HappyTails for numerous fur-babies, APS also offers assistance to those in need through the Fix-It Spay & Neuter Program and the new Pet Pantry Program. Join the fun by supporting APS as a member, foster family, volunteer, and donor!
Watch for upcoming events including: a community yard sale (November 6 & 7), monthly meet n’ greets, and our 4 the Paws Festival (October 10)!
