Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Shawn Tresidder Jr., fire fighter from Dunn.

Shawn was nominated by Ida Robbins, who says, “Shawn has wanted a career serving others since he was little. No matter what job he said he wanted to do as a child it was always a service job. When he was 16 he started volunteering at Dunn Emergency Services and immediately fell in love. After graduating high school, he started classes to become a full-time fire fighter. After finishing those he started EMT-1 classes. Shawn loves what he does and truly enjoys being able to help others.”
