Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Jeremy Pace, Fire and Rescue for the RDU Aviation Fire Department.
Jeremy was nominated by his wife Rebekah who says, “Jeremy works very hard for his department and for his family. He’s been at the RDU Airport Authority Department a little over a year but as a third-generation firefighter, has been fighting fires and doing medical rescue work, including swift water rescue, in North Carolina for over 17 years!!! Jeremy also works part-time at Zebulon Fire Department and Pilot Fire Department, as well as, taking on overtime shifts when available at RDU to help provide for his family. When he’s not at work or with his family, he helps out at his church with the preteens, often chaperoning and driving them to camps in the summer!”
Thank you, Jeremy, for your service! As a token of our appreciation, we’re sending you a gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to thank you for all you do!
