Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Kyle Meyers, volunteer firefighter for the Bethany Fire Department and a Navy Recruiter. 

Kyle was nominated by his mother-in-law Barbara who says, “Kyle is going on his tenth year in the US Navy and has served in many overseas and stateside assignments. He is currently a US Navy Recruiter and is often recognized for being one of the most successful recruiters in NC and the entire Navy. He is a member of a Navy support group that assists other members who are dealing with personal crisis. He also serves as a volunteer firefighter for the Bethany Fire Department. He has spent many training hours in fire services and responds to emergency situations as often as possible. Most importantly, he is a very dedicated husband and father. He spends as much time as possible supporting his spouse Morgan, who is a teacher, and his almost four-year-old son, Easton. Kyle is very dedicated to his family, friends, co-workers, and fellow volunteers. I could not ask for a better son-in-law who I love as my son.”
