Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Hunter Crowder, paramedic and volunteer firefighter for the Bailey Fire Department.
Hunter was nominated by his wife Ashley who says, “He is so selfless in everything he does! He loves helping the community in any way he can. He loves his girls more than anything in this world! Hunter and I have been married for 7 years! On Sunday April 16th, he and I traveled to Florida for the Be the Match Foundation. He donated his bone marrow to a recipient! This has always been his dream and he has been on the bone marrow registry since he was in high school! He was so excited to finally be able to fulfill his dream! Since April was donation month, we felt like he should be recognized for his bravery and service to his community! His girls and I love him so much!
Thank you, Hunter, for your service! As a token of our appreciation, we’re sending you a 4-pack of tickets for Carolina Mudcats Baseball, and a $50 gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to thank you for all you do.
