Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Amy Johnson, a nurse at NC State. 

Amy was nominated by her husband Mathue who says, “I want to nominate Amy for all that she does for our family and the community. I am stationed at Fort Bragg and constantly away from home performing Army duty. My wife, Amy, is a nurse at NC State (Go Pack!) and holds down the fort while I am away. Amy has been a nurse for 17 years. She recently ran the Boston Marathon while 21 weeks pregnant with TWINS. She ran a 3:58 which is extremely incredible! Thank you, Amy, for all that you do! I love you, Mathue.”
