Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is Cody Chavis, a firefighter for Meadow Fire Department and an officer for Harnett County Sheriff’s Department.
Cody was nominated by his mama, Shanta, who says, “Our son Cody Chavis is the definition of a hometown hero. He has worked hard to serve his community by not only working in law enforcement but also by working in his community as a firefighter. At just 24 years old, Cody has taken on the role as a devoted husband and father and serves his community as a firefighter for Meadow Fire Department and an officer for Harnett County Sheriff’s Department. Cody is committed to making our community a safer place for all.”
Thank you, Cody, for your service! As a token of our appreciation, we’re sending you a $50 gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to thank you for all you do.
