Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is Charles Lamb, OR inventory control specialist at WakeMed for 14 years.

Charles was nominated by his wife Stephanie who says, “He’s the most genuine person always willing to help and will drop everything to help get things done. He works long hours and goes in whenever he is needed. Charles wears many hats in his career, working with OR inventory control, cath lab inventory control, and helps out with shipping and receiving. During Covid, he helped with the inventory and help keep track of all the PPE for the WakeMed campuses. He is a loving father to a 16 year-old son and the best husband anyone could ask for and he doesn’t have a selfish bone in his body.”
