Our QDR Gold Star Teacher of the month for February is Stephanie Hunt, a Kindergarten teacher at Wilburn Elementary.

Stephanie was nominated by Isabel Garland who says, “I chose Ms. Hunt, because she truly is a magnificent and hard-working teacher who is an inspirational Kindergarten teacher to me. She has really taught me a lot since I have been at Wilburn ES. She dedicates herself to her students and families as much as she can and even works on the weekends during her free time. She has really helped me to grow and develop close relationships with our families here at Wilburn, and I continue to learn from her each day. She is a marvelous, kind, and warm-hearted teacher who takes the time to ensure her students receive the education they need to be successful in life.”

Mrs. Hunt received a commemorative plaque from Creative Images in Cary, a $100 from Crabtree to shop at Auntie Anne’s, and an additional $100 to shop anywhere at Crabtree, a community staple for more than 50 years! Her picture will also be featured on the jumbo screen at Crabtree, just below the food court for the month of February!
