Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Jimmy Covington, Sergeant for the Aberdeen Police Department.

Jimmy was nominated by Lynne Womack who says, “Jimmy has been in law enforcement for 19 years, and he just got a promotion to Sergeant a few months ago with the Aberdeen Police Department. He is also involved with the “Shop With a Cop” program. He always goes the extra mile for our community. He puts his life on the line each and every day to keep the community safe.
