Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is Lisa Rhew, a 911 dispatcher for Cary!
Lisa was nominated by Jordan Madison who says, “Lisa has touched so many lives in the time she was working in dispatch. She is passionate, caring, loving, understanding, a supervisor/ teacher, a mom, and one who goes the extra mile when speaking to those who call 911, as well as the information she gives to officers on and during a call. She puts everyone before herself and has become a role model for all of those around her especially for me. The time I worked with her having her as my dispatch officer was the most amazing time, even though I knew if her and I were working together it was a black cloud kind of day! Through the tough calls and her amazing experience, she has been able to work through any and every situation and make the best out of things she could not control. We love you Lisa! Congrats on making it to retirement!!”
Thank you, Lisa, for your service! As a token of our appreciation, we’re sending you a $50 gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to thank you for all you do.
Hometown Hero is brought to you by First Horizon Bank and the Carolina Mudcats.
