Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Anthony Clifton, firefighter with the 50/210 Fire Department.
I have never met a more selfless, giving, caring, gentle, hard-working, family-oriented, and amazing-hearted person as Anthony. We’ve been married for 13 years, and we have two amazing daughters who look up to their daddy and are so proud of him and his firefighting. My 14 year-old daughter wants to be a firefighter, just like her daddy when she grows up. He has been a part of the 50/210 fire department for going on ten years! He is also a full-time chicken farmer and is always tending to the chickens and running fire calls in between. Anthony is the type of person who will quite literally give you the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket. He’s never met an enemy and he has lots and lots of friends and family who support his chicken farming and firefighting careers. We are so proud of him and the passion he has for helping people! We love you and are so proud of you, Anthony!
Thank you, Anthony, for your service! As a token of our appreciation, we’re sending you a $50 gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q and $50 from First Horizon Bank to thank you for all you do.
