94.7 QDR wants to help homeless animals around the Triangle find fur-ever homes and that’s why we started Fursdays!
We are bringing back our Fursdays the safe way – through Zoom! Each week we will feature a local pet up for adoption through one of the amazing rescue organizations around the area.
This week we are talking with Second Chance Pet Adoptions about Lorraine! If you are interested in adopting her, please view her profile by clicking here.
Lorraine is a 2 year, 3-month-old tortie cat that is looking for a home to call her own! When she first arrived at Second Chance, she was very pregnant, and eventually gave birth to five adorable kittens. Though Lorraine was an amazing mama, her kittens have grown, and it is now time for Lorraine to get pampered by her humans. Lorraine is what we like to call a “velcro cat”. This means she will do anything in her power to get close to her humans: jump on their shoulders, ride on their back, lay in your lap, beg for attention, etc. Lorraine should not go to a home with small children for she can be quite sassy. She tolerates the other cats in the cat room she lives in, but would prefer to be the only cat in the home.
