94.7 QDR wants to help homeless animals around the Triangle find fur-ever homes and that’s why we started Fursdays!
We are bringing back our Fursdays the safe way – through Zoom! Each week we will feature a local pet up for adoption through one of the amazing rescue organizations around the area.
This week we are talking with Second Chance Pet Adoptions about Dragon!
Back in July, a local county shelter posted a photo of a kitten in need. They feared his jaw was broken so they marked him “rescue only.” We took him in and proceeded with the usual evaluations and dental care… only “the usual” wasn’t good enough for this baby boy. We came to find out that Dragon’s jaw was misaligned and needed some tooth extractions to live more comfortably. Now, he has received all of his necessary care, and he is left with an adorable overbite! Dragon is around 7-months-old, so he does love to play! He does love humans and will happily spend all day in your lap as well. He would be great living with other cats, but would also be happy as the only feline in the house to receive all of the attention!
If you are interested in learning more about Dragon, please visit secondchancenc.org. We will be able to set up a safe, socially-distant meeting with an approved adoption application. We hope to find him a forever home for the holidays!
