Our QDR Hometown Hero of this week is Joshua Compton, a Volunteer Firefighter and Dive Captain in Warren County.
Joshua was nominated by his wife Audrey who says, “Josh is a volunteer at Roanoke Wildwood in the Lake Gaston area. He is also the dive captain at his fire department. He is always only a call away and has been a firefighter since he was 16. He is selfless and puts his community first. I have watched this man work 10-hour days and still be up all hours at night on fire calls. He is the true meaning of giving his shirt off his back for someone.”
Thank you, Joshua, for your service! As a token of our appreciation, we’re sending you a gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to thank you for all you do!
