Our QDR Hometown Hero of this week is Dr. Hal Woodall, in the town of Kenly.
Dr. Woodall was nominated by one of his patients, Gene Williamson, who says “I have been a patient of Dr. Hal Woodall for over 40 years. He is truly one of a kind. He sees his patients at hours of the day no other doctor will dream of. I have personally walked out of his office at 12:30 a.m. at night and he still had three more patients waiting to be seen. Then the next morning at 7 a.m., he is at Wilson Medical Center doing his rounds for his patients in the hospital. He’s extremely knowledgeable about anything medical-related. He takes his time with you in the office and will talk with you as long as necessary until you are comfortable and understanding of your issues. He truly acts as if you are his only patient that day. He has worked countless hours, saved countless lives, and extended the lives of countless others. He is truly a one in 1 million doctor whose entire career has been for the selfless care and well-being of others. I appreciate him so very much and so does the whole town of Kenly and many others.”
Thank you, Dr. Woodall, for your service! As a token of our appreciation, we’re sending you a gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to thank you for all you do!
