Fursday: Gunner from APS of Durham

Meet our Fursday Pet of the Week, Gunner, from The Animal Protection Society of Durham!

“WOOF! Want a wiggly boy who doesn’t take himself too seriously? I’m your guy! I’m a young one year old pup, at a slim 50 pounds. I’m a compact bundle of muscle and love! I enjoy playing with new friends—can we go to the park and run around? I love to play with other dogs, I’ve been told I’m a good sport, even though I can sometimes get a tad frustrated at times – probably because I have such high energy. I need lots of play and activity to keep my brain and paws busy. I’d really benefit and love to have some basic training, too. The volunteers tell me I’m sweet, silly, goofy, and loving with tons of puppy energy. I also have a hidden talent that only gets seen after I’ve played really hard. Curious? I can breakdance! Seriously – when I’m tired, I’ll kick my back legs out to the side and swing around into a full sploot. It’s the best! I’ve been at the shelter since May 24th and ready to find a sofa to call my own 😊. Come on by to visit me today to see if I belong at your side!”
