Hi… I’m Marcus! I would love to romp and frolic with you and have great fun! Want to hang out? I’m a sweet three-year-old guy who loves playtime and affection. But before I get to romp and frolic, I really need someone who can take on my medical care and help me get the heartworm treatment I need. I’ve been at the shelter for about four months now, and while the volunteers are great at showing me affection – and boy, do I love affection! – they can only give me short walks until I go through heartworm treatment so I can run and play to my heart’s contentment. In the meantime, I get lots of love and stimulating games to keep me entertained. I can be a little anxious and insecure in new situations, but I warm up quickly. I also seem reactive to other dogs on a leash, but I could very well warm up to certain dogs if given the chance. I will probably do best with kids who are ages six or older, just because of my size and enthusiasm. I’d love to be in a home where I get plenty of attention, exercise, and can be the only dog there! If you’re looking for an activity buddy, I could be your guy! Come see me!
