Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Adam Whitfield, Firefighter for the Durham Fire Department.

Adam was nominated by Bow Bowden who says, “Adam is a devoted fireman. He has been serving the Durham Fire Department since 2005. He is the driver of Ladder 3 and also teaches in the academy. Adam strives to make the members of the department better every day by sharing his knowledge with them. Adam has a beautiful wife named Barbara and 3 kids.”
