Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Captain Trevor Baines of the Heartsease Fire Department.
Trevor was nominated by his girlfriend Frances, who says, “Trevor is fearless he will drop anything he is doing when he hears that tone drop for station 19. He is dedicated to saving the people of our community. He takes every class he can to better himself and educate himself as a firefighter. His passion for his job amazes me. He is totally selfless. He has also trained my 2 boys as firefighters. Everything they know is mainly because of him. I have never seen a man even in the dead of night sound asleep jump up and get dressed so fast. His passion and dedication amazes me I’m so proud to call him mine.”
