Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is Jeff Barrett, Dispatcher for the Wake Forest Police Department.

Jeff was nominated by his wife Courtney who says, “My husband Jeff stepped in and returned to work after I had to stop for medical reasons. He takes his job as a dispatcher very seriously and goes above and beyond every day in his role. He helps his officers tremendously, doing research in public records or social media to help his team bring justice. He also helps boost morale at work, by bringing in baked goods and treats, or cooking a “from scratch” meal during the shift which everyone often raves about! I am proud of him every day and I think the residents of Wake Forest definitely benefit from his above and beyond service!”
