QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Lexus Thompson, who works full time with Johnston County EMS.

Lexus is a mother and an amazing wife who works 24-hour shifts at her full-time job with Johnston County EMS, as well as a part-time job with Johnston Community College as an American Heart Association Administrative Assistant. She is also going to school to obtain her paramedic and degree in emergency medical science. She has a son who is 5 and enjoys everything outside. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with Antioch Volunteer Fire Department.
