Hometown Hero of the Week: Lee Byrd, July 31st, 2024
Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Lee Byrd, Fire Chief for Elevation Fire Department.
Lee was nominated by his wife Erin, who says, “Lee has been a firefighter at Elevation Fire Department for 15 years. He has served in many positions from lieutenant to assistant chief and most recently has taken on the position of fire chief. Lee truly has a servant’s heart and has dedicated his life to serving and protecting his community all while being a great husband and amazing dad to his two year-old son. We are so proud to call him ours!”
