Hometown Hero of the Week: Marshall Smith, April 3rd, 2024
Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Marshall Smith, Firefighter with the Clayton Fire Department.
Marshall is a full-time firefighter for Clayton Fire Department. He has multiple years of experience with other departments including Smithfield, Eastern Wake, and he also volunteered at Hillcrest in Raeford while serving six years in the US Army 82nd Airborne Division. He has a passion for helping people in any way that he can. Marshall is married with four daughters and also owns Smitty’s Exterior Cleaning. He enjoys coaching travel softball and fishing/hunting in his spare time.
