Hometown Hero of the Week: Deputy Tyler Pope, March 6th, 2024

Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Deputy Tyler Pope from Smithfield.

Deputy Tyler Pope was nominated by Jenny Parris, who says, “Tyler has been with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office for over 5 years. During his time with the Sheriff’s Office, he has exhibited selfless dedication to his job and the community he serves. He is a trusted law enforcement figure in his area and has had the opportunity to meet some great residents through community engagement. Deputy Pope serves his community with fairness, even during difficult times. People who know Tyler would describe him as dependable, loyal, humorous and an avid fisherman. Johnston County is fortunate to have him as a deputy and as a citizen.”

Thank you, Tyler, for your service! As a token of our appreciation, we’re sending you a $50 gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to thank you for all you do.
