Hometown Hero of the Week

Hometown Hero of the Week: Ashtyn Johnson, January 22nd, 2024
Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Ashtyn Johnson, EMT with Erwin Fire and Rescue.
Ashtyn is one of the strongest, courageous, determined and, outgoing people that I know! Ashtyn is currently an EMT with Erwin Fire & Rescue. Ashtyn was a former volunteer fireman with Four Oaks Fire Department for 2 years, which sparked her interest into the medical field. Ashtyn always goes above and beyond in all that she does and takes pride in her career deeply. She is scheduled to begin Paramedic school in the fall of 2025 at Sampson Community College as she received a full scholarship. She is one of a kind and has the biggest heart and a strong love for others! I am beyond blessed to call Ashtyn one of my best friends for nearly 5 years and we were high school graduates together. Ashtyn will excel in all that she does!
Thank you, Ashtyn, for your service! As a token of our appreciation, we’re sending you a $50 gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q and $50 from First Horizon Bank to thank you for all you do.
