Monday – Friday: 5 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Thanks for waking up with Mike & Amanda, Your Q Morning Crew. They have one mission each morning and that’s to help you start your day with a lot of fun so be ready to laugh and smile and sing along to your favorite songs each morning.
Get to know Mike: Mike has been a mainstay on QDR for many years now. Mike is originally from Lee County and is a UNC grad. He lives in Knightdale with his wife Amy. He loves his Tarheels, his family, grilling, hanging out with friends, and being a part of your morning.
Get to know Amanda: She’s from Johnston County – JOCO! She chased her dream in Nashville for about 10 years as a working singer-songwriter. She was a featured performer at some of Nashville’s most famous honky-tonks. She had the opportunity to tour with Alan Jackson and boy does she has some great stories to tell! Amanda made the tough decision to leave Nashville and come back home to North Carolina to chase a new dream. Amanda was raised on QDR and is loving being a part of your morning with Mike Wheless and when she’s not keeping Mike straight, she’s looking after her son, Jackson.
You can count on Mike and Amanda to put a smile on your face with laughter, fun-feel good stories, and great Country music.
Of course, we’ll make sure you know how to dress for the day and which way not to go with up-to-date traffic and weather with Captain Dave and Heather with Weather.
